About Me

Please describe your professional experience (this will be used on Therapist Finder)
I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist with a deep commitment to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with strength and self-awareness. With over a decade of clinical experience and more than 26 years in the field of social work, I bring a person-centered, culturally responsive approach to my work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions—including pregnancy and postpartum concerns. I believe every individual has the capacity for healing and growth. I provide evidence-based care grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and often integrate techniques from motivational interviewing, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and cognitive restructuring to meet each client’s unique needs. I also use a range of clinical tools to guide treatment and track progress. Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, staying active, and spending time with family and friends. My dedication to normalizing mental health care stems from a lifelong passion for helping others heal in mind, body, and spirit.
