About Me

Please describe your professional experience (this will be used on Therapist Finder)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) devoted to guiding individuals in transforming their relationship with mental health challenges that hinder personal growth. My therapeutic approach centers around identifying and addressing ineffective behaviors, habits, and thought patterns, fostering a more workable and fulfilling way of life.
In collaboration with clients, I prioritize their goals, integrating their insights and unique needs. My practice draws from evidence-based mental health treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Through a client-centered lens, I establish a secure and supportive therapeutic environment, tailored to individual values, aspirations, and purpose.
Specializing in anxiety management and navigating life with illness, either as a patient or caregiver, I bring a unique perspective to my work—I not only advocate for certain strategies, but I also practice what I recommend. My unwavering commitment to reliability, responsiveness, and flexibility ensures a personalized and effective therapeutic experience for each client.
For those interested in initiating a transformative journey, I offer free consultations. Feel free to reach out by sending a request to meg.dvorak.lcsw@gmail.com.
