GROW YOUR COMMUNITY & ADVANCE YOUR CAREER

Sacramento/Davis District

Sunday, February 25, 2018 1:47 PM | CSCSW Administrator (Administrator)
The Sacramento/Davis District has enjoyed interesting presentations on a variety of topics: Symptom Management Strategies, The Therapist's Role Regarding Medication, Current Trends in Treating Young Adults, and Caring for Caretakers. We are looking forward to a presentation on Treatment of Anxiety in Children in February and Issues Regarding Suicide in April.  We hope to have our third annual Emerging Professionals Symposium Backyard Brunch in May at which we hear presentations from new members in our field and have some relaxed time to socialize. Mick Rogers, LCSW works with Sacramento State University's Division of Social Work in providing the BBS required 15 hour supervision class to field instructors who want to become clinical supervisors. Jean and George Rosenfeld's Consult/Support Group for new professionals has been going strong for 2 years.

(Doug Adams is no longer leading a mentorship group)
