Fresno Pacific University is located at 1717 S. Chestnut Street. Travelling south on Chestnut, cross Butler, take a left on Hamilton Avenue and left into Hamilton parking lot. No permit is needed. From there, Steinert Campus Center is directly north, abutting the parking lot."
Cost: CSCSW members can earn 1.5 CE credits at no cost. Non-member LCSWs and LMFTs may earn 1.5 CE credits for a nominal fee of $15. Free to audit. PCE#1.

Overview:
This presentation will focus on providing a conceptual understanding of what mindfulness means and how it can be developed. Emphasis will be on mindfulness as a clinical skill and the benefits of developing mindfulness for both clinician and client. The presentation will include an experiential component in which participants will engage in a first person experience of mindfulness practice.
About the Presenter:
Leslie Bullock, LCSW is in private practice with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, end of life issues, trauma and stress related conditions, relationship difficulties, gender identity issues and life transitions. She also works with those interested in spiritual exploration, mindfulness practice and personal growth. She currently leads several women's therapy groups.
Leslie's psychotherapy practice integrates mindfulness approaches towards mental health and well-being. She believes in each individual's capacity to find balance, well-being and contentment through utilizing inner resources and mindfulness techniques. CLICK HERE to visit her website.
Goals and Objectives:
Participants will gain:
• A theoretical and operational understanding of what mindfulness means and how mindfulness is developed.
• Experience practicing mindfulness through a mindfulness exercise.
Participants will be able to:
• Identify three avenues for integrating mindfulness into clinical social work practice.
• Identify four clinical skills that are cultivated through personal practice of mindfulness.
• Identify four benefits of developing mindfulness
This course meets the qualifications for 1.5hrs of CE credit for LCSWs, LMFTs, and LPCCs as required by the CA BBS. PCE #1
