This presentation will provide 1) Psychoeducation on perinatal mood disorders (depression, anxiety, and psychosis) 2) Recognizing signs and symptoms of PMADs, 3) Treatments and therapy, 4) A mini case presentation.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

Recognize the signs and symptoms of PMADs,
Learn how to screen for PMADs,
Learn how to treat PMADs

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Dr. Juli Fraga is a psychologist in San Francisco who specializes in maternal mental health disorders and women's health concerns. She is on the medical advisory board for BabyCenter. She is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of California, San Francisco (USCF).

This is a District Meeting coordinated by the Mid-Peninsula District

This DISTRICT MEETING meets the qualifications for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Note: With supervisor approval, registered ASWs may use CEs toward LCSW hours.
