The implementation of the Good Faith Estimate (GFE), part of the No Surprises Act, has caused some confusion and anxiety. CSWA is offering this webinar to answer your questions. Panelists will be CSWA President Kendra Roberson, Attorney Fran Schopick, and myself. As you know the GFE began on January 1, 2022, so time is of the essence. This webinar will answer the following questions (and much more):

What are the requirements to comply with the Good Faith Estimate?
How do LCSWs comply with the diagnosis and length of treatment requirements?
Are GFEs required for patients covered by commercial insurance?
Are GFEs required for public insurance, i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, etc.?
Are GFEs required for private pay and uninsured patients?
Can GFEs be updated once they are written?
Do patients have to sign a copy of your GFE policies?
Is there a GFE template for LCSWs to use?
Will there be more changes to the GFEs in the near future?
