During this presentation, we'll explore the often confusing and uneven patterns of learning and behavior found among many children, teens and adults with ADHD and executive function challenges. We’ll focus particular attention on common trouble spots that individuals with ADHD experience in school, at home and in the workplace. as well as practical strategies that can help. In addition, we’ll review important protective processes that researchers, clinicians and others are identifying in the lives of people who, despite struggling for years with attentional and learning problems, are now leading productive and meaningful lives.

About the Presenter:
Today, in addition to her consulting work with Coronado SAFE (Student and Family Enrichment), Terri holds positions in Private Practice and as a consultant with High Tech High where she specializes in mental health treatment for children and families. Terri has been married to her amazing husband for over 40 years. In her down time, she loves to make crafts, and her artistic talents are well represented in her style of therapeutic work.
This course meets the qualifications for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Note: With supervisor approval, registered ASWs may use CEs toward LCSW hours.

The San Diego Chapter of CSCSW holds its meetings on the first Saturday of the month from September through June from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Jewish Family Service building, 8788 Balboa Avenue in Kearny Mesa. Meetings begin with a half hour of mingling, networking, and community building, followed by our program. CEU programs meet the requirements for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, and LCSWs as specified by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences; CEUs are FREE to our members.
